The Piner-Olivet Union School District follows the State's Textbook and Materials Adoption Cycle with the implementation of Houghton Mifflin in grades K-6 during the 2001-2002 school year. These adopted materials are aligned to the California Content Standards in each grade level and help students make connections between standards and between skills and strategies.
