The Foundation's Mission Statement
The
Piner-Olivet Educational Foundation is an independent nonprofit
organization whose purpose is to solicit funds to provide enriched
educational opportunities for the students of the Piner-Olivet Union
School District.
We
are dedicated to maintaining an open communication and gathering input
from the district’s parents, teachers, students, and administrations.
The
focus of the Piner-Olivet Educational Foundation funding shall be on
programs which are enhancements to the basis district curriculum and
which offer opportunities for students to gain special knowledge,
skills, and experiences.
POEF Provides Enrichment Opportunities for Our Students
The
Piner-Olivet Educational Foundation (POEF) has provided invaluable
support for our students over the years. This year, POEF's Vision
Committee has been exploring options for offering programs to extend our
students' learning and creativity. POEF has focused its fundraising
efforts on helping to make these options a reality.
Our
students are benefiting from their hard work and dedication. Thanks to
POEF's generous support, we will be able to provide additional library
hours for Jack London/POCS, Olivet and Schaefer Schools.
